Dividend Stock Analysis: Leon's Furniture Ltd. (TSE: LNF)
About the company:
I'm sure most of our readers have been to a Leon's Furniture store sometime in their life. My wife and I recently purchased a nice table there for our living room. Not only was it of good quality, but the shipping was included in the price and it was cheaper (by $100's) then anywhere else we had seen. I have had my eye on the stock for a while, so I thought I would give it the old Dividend Stock Analysis for this week. As usual, I like to leave the company description to the company itself, so here is Leon's Furniture's description of what they do, which can be found on their website here

Update: Castillian Resources Corp. (CVE:CT)
I feel that it is a good time to sell Castillian Resources Corp. (CVE:CT), I am happy with the return this will bring, and recommend to sell CVE:CT at any price above $0.50. It currently has a price of $0.50, so based on our initial purchase price of $0.46, that gives us a return of 8.70% for this short term trade. The technicals look like there might be some more room for growth in this stock, but I've held it longer then I usually would, and I am happy with this return so I am going to move on to the next opportunity.
Recommendation: SELL
Discloser: I currently do NOT own shares in CVE:CT
Maximize Returns By Minimizing Expenses
Yesterday I was fortunate enough to find myself out on a peaceful trout stream, with no one else around and the car long out of site I found myself at peace and that my mind was starting to wander. Even though the weather was cold and windy and to top it off the fish weren't biting, I was still able to leave with something I hadn't brought in, peace of mind and a couple of ideas for articles. I know that it has been said a hundred times before, but minimizing your costs while investing can make a big difference in your overall returns. This concept is especially true for mutual fund or index fund investors, but stock investors can gain from this advice as well.
Castillian Resources Corp. (CVE:CT)
I think right now is a good time to buy Castillian Resources Corp. (CVE:CT) for a short term trade.
I was not able to get a chart saved before the market opened, but I will add one tonight once the markets close. I picked up some shares of this stock this morning at $0.46 / share. unfortunately I was in a rush to get out the door to go to work, So I was not able to write this at that time.
Both the Slow Stochastic and the MACD indicators look very promising having had a crossover on each and both with an upward trend. Lets look for some more movement on this stock in the next couple of trading days. I will post again when I feel it is time to sell, but please note that it could come faster then I am able to post, so keep your eyes on it and sell when you feel it is time.
Recommendation: Speculative short-term BUY
Discloser: I currently own shares in CVE:CT
Mosquito Consolidated Gold Mines Ltd. (CVE:MSQ) - Time To Sell
Well, I believe it is time to sell Mosquito Consolidated Gold Mines Ltd. (CVE:MSQ) because I think its run has finished off. We did better on this trade then the others, not enough to make up the loss from them, But it is in the black. There is a chance this stock might be going up more, but I'm happy with what we've got so far so I am going to jump out of it to reduce the risk of any loss.
At the time of this writing the current price is $1.80 and we bought it for $1.71. So, this means that we had a total gain of 5.26%.
Recommendation: Time to Sell
Discloser: I do not currently own shares in CVE:MSQ
